Deon Vos

Deon is the founder of STRATX Consult, a consulting company that empowers companies to turn strategies in defined and measurable actions, with a specific focus on assisting healthcare companies in establishing route-to-market and supply chain management strategies on the African continent.

Prior to founding STRATX Consult, Deon had an over 40 year career in pharmaceutical industry, including, most recently, roles as Director of Business Development Executive at Imperial Health and CEO of RTT Medical and Consumer Health, a healthcare supply chain and distribution company. Before RTT, Deon spent over 20 years within Merck Group, the global pharmaceutical, chemical and life science company, where he was President and Managing Director of EMD Chemicals, a Merck affiliate in the USA and the global leader in the field of liquid crystal technology and application. Prior to EMD, he was CEO of Merck in South Africa, with additional responsibility for the pharmaceutical business of Merck KGaA in Asia. Deon has also held roles at Pfizer, and has previously served as the president of the Pharmaceutical Industry Association of SA.
